    Default Open Carry Wilson/Easton PA

Went to a doctors appointment with my girlfriend today then we went off to Wegmans in Wilson/Easton to get some food for dinner. Was in there for about 15-20 minutes, nobody said a thing. First time OC'ing in wegmans though I've CC'ed in there a dozen times over the winter.

We get to the check out and theres a young guy working the register.
He said, "Hey are you a cop or open carry?".
    Me, "No I'm open carrying"
He, "My family and I just moved here from South Carolina and I see people open carrying everywhere down there, you're the first person in PA I've seen open carry"
Me, "I said yeah we're trying to get more people open carrying here in PA."

He said he couldn't wait to start OC'ing and I said yeah just wait till youre 21.
Implying you need to be 21 to purchase a handgun.
He said, "Yeah just to concealed carry."
I said, "you're right you only need to be 18 to open carry".

I turned him on to our website here and he said he already knows about it.
Didn't mention if he was a member or not but that he's been here.
So if you see this welcome to PA and I was very pleased with meeting another person who know's the legality of OC, and better yet, he was younger than I am!

Yeah OC is not legal in SC- not YET at least. SC is a gun friendly enough state that a bill to legalize OC would probably pass if pushed and backed by OCDO's crew and whatever SC gun rights groups that there are.

So this guy was probably from NC or GA, or he lived just over the line in SC and went to either GA or NC all the time.
    LOL, I am a woman...

I believe that I am the one you talked to, funny I just stumble upon this post 3 years later haha but I think I remember you, you had the XD? Anyway, I am a fairly new member here. The other members who have posted are correct, and if I said I saw people OC'ing in SC it was my mistake, I meant to say I know that many of my relatives, aunts, uncles, and cousins have CC permits in SC. (At least 15 that I know of). And I myself was actually born and have lived in PA my whole life, my parents originally being form SC but have lived here now for 20+ years. I have however spent my fair share of time down south. I still have yet to OC but I will be 21 in a few months, so Im waiting it out to get a permit and buy a handgun, as I currently do not have one. This is cool that I saw this!!

The Twilight Zone. I'm calling it now.
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.
