Default bang for the buck Range #14 Ft.Dix

60 bucks shoot up to .50cal out to two hundred yards.
You can shoot at anything you bring with you (no exploding targets) they sell targets and has a range officer.
People there love to help you with any questions. I think its great
    Thanks

Yes Ft Dix has a pretty decent range and facilities. The rear of the base with many of the rifle ranges is open (drive through), the main base has a gate.

I used to be a member but let it lapse, price for a club in NJ is cheap.

BE AWARE! NJ has its own Assault Weapon Ban, so be aware of what you can and can NOT bring into NJ.

Also one of the range masters at the Dix range is a real jackoff..called the police on a guy for his semi-1919 (thread on 1919a4.com about it). Apparantly he also gives a lot of the semi-auto guys a hassle.

HEY!...I was born and raised in the NJ pine barrens!

Dad is retired Army and they live in the town right next to Ft Dix, (Browns Mills), real pineys are few and seldom seen anymore, but I knew a few growing up. That whole military reservation and the nearby state forests were my playground growing up as a kid.Had a lot of fun.

Never understood NJ jokes till I got older and started seeing the rest of NJ and how crappy it is.
