In God We Trust
Will NBC be suprised??!!
Here's your chance to let the media know where the people stand on our faith in God, as a nation.
NBC is presently taking a poll on "In God We Trust" to stay on our American currency.
Please send this to every Christian you know so they can vote on this important subject.
Please do it right away, before NBC takes this off their web page. Poll is still open so you can vote:
It's very quick to do & you will be glad you did. The link below takes you to MSNBC webpage to vote.

Re: In God We Trust
I think if people don't want money with "In God We Trust" they should just give it to me. I would make sure their beliefs are protected by not forcing them to use this money. I am not sure how they would get through life here in the US without money but I would support their decision to excersize thier rights...

I live by the Motto "In God we trust"

The choice is yours, place your faith in the court system and 12 of your peers, or carried away by 6 friends.

No. The motto has historical and patriotic significance and does nothing to establish a state religion.

I hate religions, hate 'em. However, I soundly believe in god, and do not want to see that phrase taking off of our moola. Although I would like to see "Federal Reserve Note" removed. Lets poll that one.

Re: In God We Trust
I think we had a thread on this a while back.
I don't have the time to express my views but get your hands on some OLD currency. Notice something missing?
If the founding fathers wanted it on there it would have been there from the start....

Re: In God We Trust
The only thing missing from our currency is the following statement
"This certifies that there have/has been deposited in the Treasury of the United States of America (number) silver dollar(s) payable to the bearer on demand."
The whole "separation of church and state" is the most oft misquoted piece of verbiage since "Jesus Wept"...He was one of God’s own prototypes—a high-powered mutant of some kind who was never even considered for mass production. He was too weird to live and too rare to die....
