    Default Ammo

    I have used ammoman over in NJ a few times. My experiences with them have been good for bulk purchases.

    Top line click on "retail" for store diections. If you want to save a lot, go pick it up. He is in Berlin, NJ. It's not hard to get to. I still have some family in NJ and when I visit I get my friends to chip in for whatever they need also. Usually the more you buy, the more you will save.

    Shipping costs have gone through the roof, having a local like this really can help save some money.

    I love ammoman, that's where I get most of my ammo. I've heard if you go and pick up the ammo you can save a lot of money depending on how close you are (me, I'm right across the river)

    ++1 on Ammoman

    Been using them for a while now and you can not find a easier way to buy bulk ammo. I have found slightly cheaper .223, .308 & AK rounds elsewhere but never better service.

    I have known that you can get a better price by going there but how much cheaper? Are they open every day. I seem to remember that you had to call them to see if they are open to visitors. Open on weekends?

    Is it legal for non NJ residents to buy ammo in NJ face to face like that?

    As far as I know yes. I don't know what you will do if they ask for a FID card. You need one to purchase handgun ammo in NJ. Being from out of state you won't have a FID card. You might want to call them before making the trip.

    Greetings,

    I've done biz with him for many years, though it's been quite a long time since I went there in person. No problems buying any type of ammo in person being a PA resident, but things certainly could have changed since. You do end up paying sales tax to nj though. Personally, I'd rather enrich UPS many $s than give a penny to the nj gov.

    Regards, Jim
