Checking a firearm at Lancaster County courthouse
Has anyone been through the process? I know there is "the old courthouse" and "the new courthouse" (or at least there used to be).
I have some business to attend to there next month (domestic relations related. I don't think the sheriff will be attending. ha ha.)
Anyway, I am fairly sure I need to go in the main doors of "the old courthouse" to get to where I need to go (courtroom 7).
I would like to be sure I am entering the proper entry in order to check/secure my firearm and was wondering if anyone has done it before or if I am going to have a bunch of guys standing around looking at me like I have 3 heads when I tell them I need to check/secure it. TIA.

Re: Checking a firearm at Lancaster County courthouse
The last time I went there I did notice signs at the entrances that lockers will be provided to secure firearms. At the time I wasn't carrying, I took my Mom in for jury duty. The sheriffs dept in Lancaster is pretty cool on that kind of thing. I don't think you'll have any trouble.
I'd rather be judged by twelve than carried by six!
