Springfield XDM .45??
Does anyone know if/when the XDM will be available in .45 ACP?

According to my Springfield rep that I spoke to at the Acu-Sport dealers show in Janurary th .45 is in the works but he had no idea whn it was going to be out. They are also working on a 5.2in bbl model called the XDMLS. It's going to have all the regular features of the XDM but the slide is cut out on top like the Glock 24s and it will have Heinie straight 8 sights or fiber optic sight which will soon be available on all XDMs. Thats the word from him though.
