Agreed. In order to be non-biased, this article would have to enumerate all the felony convictions of NON-license-holders as well. Then we could run a great deal of statistical analysis and come to the conclusion that legal gun owners are, as a general rule, much less likely to commit a felony than non-gun-owners.

There were 6 incidents listed in PA. How many license holders do we have here??....something like 530,000 or maybe more??!!

If everyone were this well behaved we would be the lowest crime country in the world as this would translate to about 3450 crimes per year natationwide based on a population of 300 million people.

What holds more weight is what are the convictions?

If there is any doubt to your story, even during a 'good' shoot event on your part, but due to lack of evidence or witnesses, the DA may decide to file charges for further investigation and review by your peers.

So road rage incident....permit owner....charged with assault.... is not enough info. The person may have had a trial and been let off as a good shoot.

Also, for the lady in Pa. with cocaine in her system that shot an FBI agent, we all discussed this case when it hit the papers here. It is not as straight forward as they lead the reader to believe.

This is exactly why we as a community need to get the facts out to as many people as possible . We have all the evidence we need to prove the Anti's are lying thru their teeth . Its that its not covered that is the problem . Once people start asking questions of the Anti's that they cant answer , their game will be up . So grab a soapbox and start telling anyone who will listen .
Im working on cultivating a relationship with a Philly Inquirer Reporter , explained a difference of opinion is fine , its the flat out lies that have to stop . People have a right to know both sides . He seems agreeable enough , but the proof is in the pudding . Create Myspace pages , blogs , whatever and get as many facts to as many people as possible .
