Default Car Shoot at Consolidated Sprotsman's PA

A fair amount of ClassIII shooters, all taking whacks at a van at 100 yards.

The facilities are located in north central Pennsylvania
along scenic PA Rte 87N and the Loyalsock Creek
about six miles north of Montoursville just east of Williamsport.

Saturday August 19, 2006. The range will open for setup at 12:00 pm and open for shooting at 1:00 pm. There is a registration fee for shooters and spectators are welcome but must remain behind the safety line and not approach the firing line for safety.

Man, that sounds like a lot of fun! I'm quite jealous.

I saw this video a few weeks ago, about a bunch of three guys with full-auto rifles unloading hundreds of rounds on this relatively new car.

The dude opens the video by saying

"this is what happens when Im working extra hours to help pay for your car, and you are out screwing other people.."

The car ends up looking like a pasta strainer, but the kicker is that they turn the key and the engine runs.

Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!”

    Default More Info

The shoot is open to non-members.
    Registration fee of $10.00.
Belt-Feds OK. No 50's or larger.

2 years ago they opened the shoot by firing a Civil War cannon 10lb. ball of lead through the van.

This year the van a has more windows. They use junked vans for the shoot.

Its a growing event, hopefully as it grows more items to shoot will be added.

is this restricted for only class III shooters, or can anyone with a semi go and participate?

You can be sure if FA is OK, then semi is no problem. You can always try my toys out if you go.

ARRRRGH! I would be there in a heartbeat ifit werent for the fact that I am in a wedding that day. Worse yet, it's my brother-in-law's wedding and he would love to go too - he's just back from overseas with the Army.

OK, its only a little over three hours away - do you guys allow full auto up there any other times? Do you have some information on this place? Because I would definitely make the trip.

    Thanks!

Is the event a fund raiser for a club or charity? Like some turkey shoots?
