I believe Congress would have to be involved in something like this...which means it isn't gong to happen.
I've never heard of Hal Turner, but I don't think he has much credibility, based upon his writings.

However, I wonder what the chinese would do if the US did default? World Court, I suppose, but we could give them Hillarious Klinton as settlement. Can't give Billious Klinton, since he sold his ass (and ours) out to the chinese 10 years ago.
