Default Luzerne county LTCF 45 days!

I renewed my ltcf in wilkesbarre in the middle of last year. In and out no problem. My buddy went last week and said it could take up to 45 days. WTF why did things change? Or is he full of s%$#! When i renew will it take that long? I'll have to go two months early.

They said the same to me recently in allegheny county and even their website said could be as much as 45 days http://sheriffalleghenycounty.com/HT...earms_app.html

But it was more like a week or two. So they may just be cautious in their timing like allegheny county is.

I filed in Allegheny county late January, still no LTCF. So, it CAN take a full 45 days.

I guess i'm just spoiled. I have only had to go twice having my ltcf since I turned 21. Both times I was happy to walk out the same day with it. Times they are a changing! Damn cut backs!

State law say's they have 45 days.
With the increase in app.'s all over the state, most are taking some time.
    Depends on the Co.

Lately, York Co. is walk-in walk-out.

There is a new sheriff in town. They found that the old sheriff was not doing ass thorough a check as he should have.

By law they have 45 days. When they were talking about layoffs the sheriff mentioned that it would affect the application process.
