Here's the deal, we (TT Quick) played the Stone Pony every Tuesday .. and yes Bruce showed up almost every week.

Now (and the thread killer) .. he sat at the back of the pony every week, drunk as a skunk .. he was mean and rude to anyone that approached him (ask Tootie) ... just a mean miserable bastard. While the Pony has a LOT of fond memories the 10 or so times I met Bruce are not part of them! (but meeting Tootie was) .... yes I met her at the legendary Stone pony and MY life has never been the same!

I've got so much Tull vinyl, its sickening. I'm embarrassed to tell you how many times I've seen them live. I've even got a few Tull tee shirts from the 70's. I saw the Too Old to Rock & Roll tour in 1976 in Shea Stadium, and Ian opened with Thick as a Brick. Its was pouring rain, but who gave shit, I sure didn't. They had screens all over the stadium which they called "Tullavision".

Odd how life is, I am some where between the two of you, Mom died when I was 12, and it put me in a lttle world of my own for a while, when I came out to rock... Oddly enough during a Buddy Rich concert..
The memories are both good and bad.

well, were I to be sitting in a chair in 60 or 70 some-odd years at some crap-hole nursing home, and some group of youngsters were to come in and play music for us old farts, my first request would probably be "Master of Puppets" by Metallica, followed by "Sex Type Thing" by STP, and then "Down in a Hole" by Alice in Chains.

all I'd need is some nurse's aide to hold my hand up while I make the METAL sign.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but believe me, it's on the damned list.
