Default OC at the OCB! In Whitehall!

Greetings all. After a long lull in exciting stories, I have had a run these past couple of days. We finished the day today with a bang - figuratively speaking of course! I had to ship a bunch of tools for the business today, and I had promised our little Plinkette a trip to Borders bookstore in Whitehall. Since I was running late (going to the range will cause that you know), I called Mrs. Plinker and suggested that she meet us there. I offered to take them out for dinner as part of the deal. So after we all found a book at Borders and were on our way out the door, I asked Mrs. Plinker where she wanted to eat.

"How about the Old Country Buffet? It is right here, and the food is pretty decent."

"That's fine with me, as long as you realize that we may be visited by some of Whitehall's finest."

"I don't care, as long as you don't."

So off we went. The place was crammed! I mean cheek to jowl, elbow to butthole crammed. There were little monsters running all over the place. I was amazed at the number of sawed off little runts that could not even see over the tops of the tables running around loose without any parental supervision at all! You would have thought we were at Chuck-E-Cheese or something! As it turns out, we were there for meat lovers night. Once you got past the vermin crawling all over, it looked like a scene from the Chisholm trail. So of course, I fit right in.

    Anyway, nothing happened.

We walked in, sat down, had a great dinner, and no one screamed man with a gun (a big honking gun too!), no one called the cops, no one sent the manager over to talk to me, nothing. I said to Mrs. Plinker, "PAPatriot goes to the OCB and gets arrested. I go and what do I get? Heartburn." The worst thing that happened all night was a chicken drumstick exploded, sending grease spots all down the front of my shirt when I took the first bite. You would have thought the thing was pressurized the way it went off! I was unhappy about that, but Mrs. Plinker reminded me that if no one saw my gun, they were not going to take notice of some piddling little grease stains from a chicken bone. But it sure was tasty. So it was a whole lot of nothing in the way of excitement. But I will take it.

You do know I can only rep you so many times in one day, don't you?

You really have a way with the metaphors about children.

Are you sure it was a chicken leg? Sounds like you might have bitten into one of those hellions......

Nice thats REAL close to my work. Might have to go in there sometime. Its been a few years since I been there but it sounds liek it hasnt changed much.
Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom.JFK

Also I like the way he refers to his wife and kids, makes me think he might have a pop group like the Osman family. Now playing "PA and Mrs Plinker and the little Plinkettes" I'd go to that show.
