what do you mean berdan primers ?????
If your brass is berban primed it is not reloadable . Look in the case if it has 2 little holes in the bottom you cant reload it . there is no way to pop the primers out

Grafs Reloading used to have them, they are out of stock....haven't seen them for sale in a while, either way if you do find them they are expensive usually.

Need a special depriming tool....RCBS makes the special berdan de-capping tool.

    See here: https://shop.rcbs.com/WebConnect/Mai...productId=3162

$66 bucks! ouch!.....may be better off scrapping your berdan brass and loading up on the standard boxer for your needs.

Let me do some looking in my reloading links...I will post back later if I have any luck on berdan stuff.....just what are you hoping to reload by the way?

Berdan primed cases are reloadable. There is more than one way to deprime them, it's just a pain in the ass to do it.
RCBS makes a tool to do it mechanically, there may be others too.
There is also a method of decapping the brass hydraulically.
Both can be found with a simple search on the Internet.

Back to the original question; No I don't know of a good or inexpensive source for Berdan primers, but I do know that they are available.

I don't have a short temper, I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.

Tutorial from Surplus Rifle on Reloading Berdan cases:

As far as primers go....I am coming up dry myself, apparently PMC is making them, but finding reloading supplier that has them is so far no go.

Why do you want to load CORROSIVE ammo?

I never did it myself.....but when you have 5000 or 10,000 pieces of once fired 762x51 or 8mm Mauser brass on hand....you explore the option of reloading them compared to scrapping them.

New Berdan primers are not corrosive. Ain't technology great? I agree they are a pain but necessity is the mother of invention. Get rich figuring out a cheap and easy way to reload berdan.

Whats the big deal with corrosive ammo? Clean with water and some Windex and its not an issue. Since most folks clean their guns after shooting anyways its not a problem.
