    Default PGH one-on-one handgun training

The wife & I have decided we could use a little one-on-one training (marksmanship, mostly) with our pistols before we invest in any more classes - can anyone recommend a trainer in the Pittsburgh area that gives one-on-one instruction?

I'd suggest joining a local sportsman club. There are always experts and good shooters willing to help new shooters. I say this because to become a good marksman, requires practice, ergo you need a place to practice. Most shooters I know are very willing to help and let others try their guns. Hope this helps.

    dirksterg30,

My company Personal Security Consultants provides the Defensive Pistol training classes at Anthony Arms Indoor Range in West Mifflin.

We have provided private training in the past and are available to provide such training.

Please feel free to contact me at PSCTng@Comcast.net, I will answer any questions you might have.

Thanks, Roland. Actually, I am a member of a local club, but my schedule prevents me from attending any of the events. I guess what I'm looking for is someone who's profession (at least part-time) is training. I think that would be a better use of my limited time.

Thumbs up Re: PGH one-on-one handgun training

Dirksterg30, if you are near the Pittsburgh Int. Airport, or near Coraopolis and Moon twp., you may want to contact the "Coraopolis Sportsmen's Gun Club", where I am also a member. Phone number is....412) 264-9920, and ask for Keeth, and I am sure he can help you.
    Good luck to you.
