Re: Who here screams in terror when they shoot their AR?
Bwahahahahaha! I think he was playing it up for the camera, though.
Well, I got an AR recently and I haven't used one since rifle qualifications on the M16A1 about 15 years ago, and there was one thing that made me a bit nervous that I had forgotten about-- the forward assist. IMO, it kinda says something negative about the reliability of a weapon if it's necessary to put a feature like that on it."When law becomes despotic, morals are relaxed, and vice versa."-- Honore de Balzac, The Wild Ass's Skin...huh, huh..Balzac...Wild Ass...huh, huh

Re: Who here screams in terror when they shoot their AR?
Well this is a first for me... I have put thousands of rounds through AR/M16/M4 rifles and never screamed... unless you count shrieks of joy the first time I got to shoot on full auto...
When you are called a racist, it just means you won an argument with an Obama supporter.

Of every one hundred men in battle, ten should not even be there. Eighty, are nothing but targets. Nine are the real fighters, we are lucky to have them since they make the battle. Ah, but the one—one is the Warrior—and he brings the others home. —Heracletus

Re: Who here screams in terror when they shoot their AR?
Every mythic hero normally has an equally mythic weapon. Zeus had his thunderbolts. Thor had his hammer, Mjolnir. King Arthur had his Excalibur. Frodo and Bilbo had their Sting. Rhydderch Hael had his Dyrnwyn. King Kong had his bananas…you get the idea. It's time for you to join the ranks of the heroes and heroines of lore as you wield your own legendary weapon in your battle against a very powerful foe: hunger.
The Titanium Spork is ready for the challenge. Titanium is known for its great strength, corrosion resistance, and light weight, which makes this spork a valuable asset around feeding time. Imagine how much more food you could shovel in at your local buffet if you didn't have to worry about the strain of picking up a heavy fork or spoon. Your food consumption can become the stuff of legends. Even just holding the Titanium Spork in your hand, you can feel its power. It is perhaps the greatest gastronomic invention since lickable wallpaper. Hunger, beware - your end is near!
Titanium Spork Dimensions:approx. 6.25" long and 1.5" at its widest point.Of every one hundred men in battle, ten should not even be there. Eighty, are nothing but targets. Nine are the real fighters, we are lucky to have them since they make the battle. Ah, but the one—one is the Warrior—and he brings the others home. —Heracletus

Actually with the POS thy gave me in basic it was:
SPORTS
Slam the piece of crap against the ground
Pray you don't crack the stock
Observe the range officers looking your way
Realize the POS is STILL jammed
Throw the damn thing on the ground cursing and screaming
Spend more time than you care to admit getting your ass chewed off by your DI

My viking ancestors weep in their beards knowing that that guy is in their lineage!
Are you sure that that's not a spork, but Poseidon's trident?Sed ego sum homo indomitus
