Taxation is voluntary!
I'm posting this in the NEWS forum because it's news to me. If it's more appropriate somewhere else, please feel free to move it.
I did try to find this posted somewhere else on PAFOA before I posted, if it's a duplicate I apologize.
I don't have a short temper, I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.

Yeah, this is about the third thread concerning the alleged "you don't REALLY have to pay income tax unless you want to" canard.
Don't try this at home... or in the office... or anywhere.

I did my ex-wife's taxes this year, she took 6 exptions on her W4 and paid 0 Federal taxes... If it wasn't for the Child Tax Credit for our daughter, she would've owed big time... lol

Re: Taxation is voluntary!
Everyone should have some sort of "home based" business. Reloading for fun and profit, Amway or Tupperware, auto repairs, something to be able to take advantage of the deductions only available to businesses.
I can't honestly recall the last time I paid into the IRS. Probably this year since my wife started her career. But if it was up to me, they wouldn't get a thin dime.Veritas Vos Liberat
