    Default Hello from a new member

    Hello all,

    New member here, I'm from Lebanon...Cornwall to be exact...Relatively new to the area (moved here in 05) I'm learning the area pretty quickly though..
    I'm a long time shooter, hunter and the all round outdoorsy type!
    Anyone have an idea as to where I can go to shoot loooong range out to 1000yds?
    I belong to a local range (for the last 4 months) best I get there is 200.

    What about coyote hunting, wheres the best place (public or private that I could get permission) that I can go to actually get one?

    Feel free to contact me to go shooting too!!! Don't really know many people up here YET!

    Welcome Searcher67 theres a 1000yd range in Williamsport pa dont know how close it is to you but heres the web site www.pa1000yard.com Not sure about coyote hunting down there .But I got them pest up here all the time.I shoot them all the time

    Welcome. Pa's a big State, but 1000 yards is asking a lot. I'd like to try 250, but here in the Eastern part, finding 100 yard ranges is not easy.

    Welcome to PAFOA.
    I know of several places to shoot locally, but not 1000 yards. The longest I know of around here is 200 (Palmyra).
    If you don't mind driving a few hours you can find 1000 yard ranges in the Williamsport area and in the Ridgway area, (Elk co.).
    If you want to compare notes on ranges feel free to send me an email or PM.
    There is a group of us planning to go out for a shoot on Sunday, March 1 at Jonestown Fish & Game, you're welcome to come out and shoot with us. If you'd like to join we can arrange that too. There will be a meeting that evening at 7:30.
    (We're also considering a cookout between the shooting and the meeting).

    I don't have a short temper, I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.
