As Synergy said, search Taurus Judge and you will find a multi page pissing contest on that gun that took place here a while back.

I will say that I fired one with buckshot at 10 yards and only one pellet from each round hit the target with the others flying off into space. I wasnt impressed.

    Search TAURUS JUDGE.

    Fun reading.

Don't get excited that you can shoot a hand sized shotgun. It has been demonstrated that buckshot in .410 is not very effective for self defense. If you want a "snake gun" it works well with smaller shot on the slithery critters with some smaller shot.

The .45 colt is good for defense but very expensive to shoot and the gun is to big/heavy for cc.

Me owning a Taurus Ragin Bull maybe
I not the one to JUDGE...LOL

Kidding it is a fine pistol according
to friends, I've never owned one
but Taurus produces a good line
of pistols. And a 410 slug would
sure be a man stoper! Stated above
the ten yards, well that's to far anyway.
Within 10 ft it would do serious damage.

I have yet to shoot it but it does seem like a nice item to have. Just not very practical. I think there are better choices for defense, but I may still pick one up at some point.

REALLY?? Out of a 3" barrell?? I don't think so.

Remember,.410 ammo is made to be fired from a long shotgun barrell,so don't look at ballistics published by the ammo makers & think that's what you'll get out of your 3" barrell revolver. I would love to see a Judge fired over a crono. I would guess you'd get about 1/3,or slightly less, of the velocity you would get out of an actual shotgun.

As far as SD with that gun,I would advise you to stick with .45 colt for anything other than snakes, rats, songbirds, bunny rabbits.....ect.

I don't see where a Judge would do anything that a regular .44mag revolver wouldn't.

I feel the way Taurus markets this thing for SD is misleading & potentially dangerous.

not to mention it's hard to find slugs in .410 as well as 3" buck shot shells

You really do need to use the search tool as suggested before. This has all been discussed at length.
