    Default Lancaster County Sheriff Dept.

I went in for my CCW permit today. There were 10 other people in line for the same thing !! Looked like the DMV in here!

Glad to hear it. Maybe you will have it in time for the Lancaster OC lunch/dinner next month? You can attend anyway of course.

I didn't know they issued CCWs there.

Personally, I'd ask for an LTCF.

Something I've been wondering about for a while. Why does it bug so many forum members when someone says CC permit instead of LTCF or clip instead of magazine, and not when they say bullet when they really mean cartridge or ammunition? Seems to me the purpose of language is to communicate, is it possible that folks on this forum don't know what someone is talking about when they say CCW?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

I applied on 12-10-08 and had it in hand 1-13-08. It's too late for me to do math:P
