Talking 10 Maybe Not-So-Good Gun rules

    Came across this yesterday.

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." -Edmund Burke

It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything. -Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club

“One man with a gun can control 100 without one. ” -Vladamir Lenin, Founder Communist Party USSR ... I hate to quote a commie, but when they ban your gun, you'll know who gave them the idea.

Sorry, I have to disagree with the others who posted. Yes, there's a little humor there, but those kind of "rules" just give ammo to the anti crowd who think gun owners are Neanderthals. Among friends those rules might create a laugh or two, but when those against guns read the post (and I'm sure some do check the Forum) it just reinforces old sterotypes. That's my read.

This post is five years old.

Honestly, half of those people retired from gun ownership years ago. DEO himself got a nice ranch, sits around yelling at kids. Doesn't like them on his lawn.

This post is so old, Betty White is making fun of it.

Yes indeed, let's tip-toe around humorous sarcasm so we don't offend those who can't think for themselves or are looking for validation of their "for the children" indocrination.

Seriously, it's ok to make fun of ourselves. Anyone who would take that set of rules as symbolic of our true nature is bound to make stuff up anyway. I'm ok if the best they can come up with is "Look at this, I told you they are Neanderthals!"

Uhg must go now, must kill food.
    When the SHTF......be the fan.
