Default One step closer to reloading

Well I didn't go shooting yesterday for good reason. I was trying to get the basement in order for my new gun room/reloading room. Yesterday we made some serious head way and the floor will be ready for it's 2nd coat when I get home from work today. I have been putting off reloading for to long, and now I am starting to get the bug to try my hand at it.

The reinforced block wall is still on the plans as well, but not sure when I am putting that up as I am still unsure on the size to make the room. Regardless I am one step closer, and after 1 or two more coats on the floor, and some cutting in/touch up I should be read to setup the work benches, move safes, and have myself one nice gun room.

Great looking area, I would stay away from the window and back door, just my opinion.

Or the hood of a Buick and a shooting bench.

The second coat went on good tonight. Now I just need to let the bad boy dry until tomorrow to see if a 3rd coat will be needed. If no additional coats are needed, I am going to work on the wiring, lighting and outlets. Maybe while I am working on that my wife can work on painting the poles and the cutting on the floors. I am seriously considering another coat on the walls just for "job well done" feeling. Who knows but it feels good doing something productive the old homestead.

Woot Woot it seems so close now that it's getting all painted up.

My wife has preapproved a gun room in our home(when we buy one)...with all the works... She knows not what she is getting into. I almost want to have her put it into writing.
