There were plans on arfcom for them, or some people were making them

12" x 24" plywood base painted black, cut to mag size 2x4.

I thought about building one myself, but that site has some cool stands.

Colt's have the larger pin size making them unable to fit other uppers, correct? Less options when you have a colt in my opinion.

I'll build one this weekend as a small project. I think Im just going to sand and refinish a non "drop free" mag and then make a wedge for it to attach to.
