Squirrels
What is the squirrel season?
From the info I found, it appears to be:
Oct. 18 - Nov. 29
Dec. 15 - Dec. 23
Dec. 26 - Feb. 7
is that correct?
I'm laid off and was thinking of something different to do instead of hanging around inside the house. Haven't hunted squirrels in a long time. Plus I have a nice new Savage .22 that has only had a taste of paper.

Re: Squirrels
You are correct. If you wanted you could hunt crows fri, sat and sun from July4th - April 5th. Could hunt groundhogs... but I think that is pretty much it until next season....

Re: Squirrels
WOODCHUCKS (GROUNDHOGS): No closed season, except: Sundays; during the antlered and antlerless deer seasons; and until noon daily during the spring gobbler turkey season.

Re: Squirrels
I have no interest in turkey. Coyote might be interesting. My dad got some type of animal caller device and wanted to try it out. have to find somewhere to do that though.
I don't know anything about hunting coyote. Any tips, like where are good places (fields, forest, etc), best time of the day, etc?

Re: Squirrels
You could probably find lots of places to hunt groundhogs (whistlepigs) right now. You probably won't kill very many, unless you take a backhoe with you. This would be because they are mostly about 5 feet down, hibernating. Bwahahaha . But, you CAN hunt them, if you really want to. You could also hunt saltwater crocodiles in the Neshaminy Creek.
I apologize. I'm a little weirded out on meds at the moment and am having one of those episodes where everything I see or hear, is hilarious. Wish you all could join me, we would have a ball. MUST stop typing now!
