can I conceal carry?

later this week I am going to the Wachovia center in Philadelphia for an event with my wife and kids and I was wandering can I conceal carry there or do they have special rules that would not allow me to do so? I have been carrying for 7 years now but have never been to a sports complex while doing so. Thank you in advance.

I was under the impression that the Philly ban was shot down and ruled to violate the Federal 2A, perhaps some PA state laws as well.

I don't know what their policy is, call and ask. I would say try searching here, because I know this has been discussed before, but the search with google blows chunks.......Maybe page through the concealed carry pages...

Just a FYI,

I walked into the Wachovia Spectrum on Saturday 2/14 without so much as a wanding or a security check. I didn't notice any signs prohibiting firearms, but I wasn't looking either.

I would just make sure they do not have metal detectors. I have no idea what sports complexes use them. However, I can tell you for sure that when i went to a dallas mavericks basketball game in Texas, I had to walk through a metal detector. My father inlaw told me I shouldn't carry there because he knew they had metal detectors. If they didnt use them I would carry, as i believe one should carry everywhere you go.

I was at the flyers game on 2-14. Security wanded me around my waist, but that's it. So you should be alright if you ankle carry. I didn't see any signs about not carrying weapons.
