    Cool OC in Northampton County

Hi all. I am yet to see anyone OC here in Easton or Forks Township. Here is my dilemma. I live in Forks, am a woman, and having no luck at all CC.
I am too small to conceal my gun (S&W Sigma 9). I have tried every which way to do so. I took my pistol to Cabela's and tried every holster I can, with NO luck. I bought a Blackhawk Serpa, but of course have to wear it openly. I am yet to have the guts to do so. But really want to. My husband CC cuz of course it's easy for him. (ITW) I try to do that and look like I have a "package" . I now use a purse and hate doing so. There is no way to get it in time if need be. I can't tell the perpetrator "Hold on a sec while I get my pistol out of this stupid purse."
So, my point being, does anyone OC around here? If you do, have you had any incidents?
    I appreciate anyone's feedback!
    Thanks
    Jerilyn

You will come to realize that most people don't even notice you are carrying. Just don't wander over into Jersey by mistake.

I know there are some members over your way who would be glad to help you out. I'll bet they will reply soon.
How did you know? Are you psychic?

I do OC in and around the Easton area and have yet to run into any grief. Does your husband OC at all? One suggestion I have is to go to a gun show and look at the various holsters. That is how my wife found hers.

So I went out with my pistol this evening. I was carrying it on my hip but had an unzipped jacket on (baby steps). Yes it did stick out most of the time, and nobody noticed, that I can see. I did so at the new Xmas Tree Shop in Allentown. I was with my husband who, as I said before, CC. He is VERY uncomfortable with me open carrying and reminded me often that my gun was showing. I told him to chill out and he did. Anyway, if anyone noticed, they didn't seem to care.
Here in Forks, for some reason, I am a little more nervous. But will soon have to try it out. Why not?

p.s. and as for Jersey, I am on the border and know where the state line is. And I know what a wonderful state it can be..
    So no worries regarding that!

It is a Desantis. I don't remember the model. Come to the show this Saturday in Allentown. I will be there in the morning with ungawa.
