Hog hunting outfitters in NC, SC or GA
I'm looking to book a 3-5 day hog hunt in NC, SC or GA at the end of this year for me and two friends of mine. I'm looking for pretty much full service with lodging and meals included but we wouldn't mind a housekeeping arrangement where we can cook our own food or something like that.
I'm not looking for a canned hunt. I want to hunt fair chase, free ranging, unfenced hogs either by spot and stalk or from treestands. We're looking to hunt with rifles and maybe handguns with open sights if the opportunity presents itself. A handgun hunt with dogs wouldn't be out of the question but we'd prefer spot and stalk.
We're planning on driving down from PA which is why I'm limited to NC, SC and GA. I would also consider VA, WV, KY or TN or somewhere else we can drive to in about a day.
Does anybody have any recommendations for outfitters in those areas that meet the above criteria?
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I could find you a place in TX, but that appears too far.

I recently enjoyed a hunt with Hog Heaven Outfitters in NC.(picture top center in their photo gallery) This could be just what you are looking for 100% fair chase. You can call Milton Turnage 252-560-5082 or visit their website www.hogheavenoutfitters.com tell them Dale from Camo Extreme sent you

Probly not what you want but check with these guys. The place is lousy with hogs. There are at least 2 of us on this board who can help with local info.

I realize this post is kinda old, but thought I would ad to it, I went to a very good outfitter in SC, The guys name is Pete Simmons, The Name of his company is Buck Run Lodge. 100% fair chase, and have some of the best hunting the low country of SC has to offer, so check them out @ http://www.buckrun.com I am sure it will be worth your time to check them out.
You can also check out Select Outfitters Directory, for hunts in other states.

Head for the Eastern Sportsman Show in Harrisburg and you will meet all sorts of outfitters that have Hawg hunts. I believe the dates are from the 5th of Feb to the 14th. I`ll be heading there myself on the 8th.

I can second what Loggy has stated. Just got back from Loshbough and had a GREAT time. Really nice people and our "Guide" Tommy was awesome!!!! My Wife shot this 200# full-blooded Russian Boar with her Marlin 30-30 at about 60 yards. Ran 20 yards and collapsed.
I also highly recommend them if you want an exciting hunt and a couple nice days out in the woods.
