    Default Ankle carry

Ok does anyone have any suggestion to ankle carring a taurus 85. Type of holster ? calf strap? ride on top of hiking boot?

Ive been looking for a p3at or lcp for pocket carry but alas no luck. I bought the taurus 85 on a whim ( to good of price to pass up ). its to big to pocket carry so i was thinking ankle. I dont like the tactical aspect of ankle carry , but figure ankle is better than nothing. Any suggestions on a holster? Dont want to spend alot so these $100 holsters are out. If im going to spend that much i'll sell the taurus and combine the money for a new p3at , lol

I have been thinking about getting one. Gould and Goodrich has a leather ankle holster with the calf strap for around $55 at most online shops. Looks decent enough, or you could always go with the uncle mikes ankle holster for about $35. A police friend of mine uses the uncle mikes for church carry. Seems to like it.

Good luck. Hunting for what you want is half the fun!

This is the Ankle holster I carred a Glock 26 then 27. I carried this way on duty as a back up weapon and off duty. Never had a problem with weight, retention during scuffles or running. I still have it and use it. Great way to carry as very few people look at you ankles.
