    Angry rossi .38 model 351

My NEW, only fired 30 rounds with it, Rossi seems to have cracks around the wheel. Has anyone ever had or heard about this happening. I am going back to where I purchased it tomorrow. I have had it for only 20 days! Very very disappointed!

Today, 2/9/2009, I exchanged my Rossi for a S&W Model 642. Thanks to all who responded. Cabella's gave me no problem with the exchange. I can't wait to shoot it!

I can't say that I blame you! I would be quite upset to say the least. I was under the impression that Rossi guns were pretty decent, but I guess not. Maybe you just got an unlucky one. I would take it back too. Hope it all works out for you.

Sorry to hear that. I have had a Rossi .38 for many years now and no problems whatsoever. Lot's of rounds thru it too. Hey, any gun could have a problem. As long as you can get satisfaction in one way or another, that's what counts. Let us know what happens.

I was at the range last summer and listening to a guy complaining about the problems he had been having with his gun, he had it at a gunsmith for the past few weeks and blah, blah, blah. After a few minutes it was clear he was talking about his 2K dollar custom Kimber 1911. So I guess, it can happen to any gun at anytime. Certainly hope you get your issue resolved though.
