Default Russian Made Vepr K AK 47 Variant 7.62x39 PICS!!! Rare Rifle

Well as some of you know I have been on a little bit of a rifle binge lately and I picked up two (the other was a Arsenal 107CR) of my final rifles tonight.

It is a Russian made Vepr K they were imported by Robinson a few years back. They are based on a RPK style AK but have a 16" barrel. The receivers are twice the thickness of a traditional stamped AK. With the heavy receiver and heavy barrel they are extremely accurate rifles and you wont see to many around. There are a couple things different about this rifle than some others you might see. It has a skeletal stock and three vent heat shields.

Thats about all I know about them.

    Here are a few pics.

You need to build a gun room, so you can display these fine works of art..

The rifle weighs I think 8.5 lbs UNLOADED!

The pistol is my carry gun it is a Les Baer Thunder Ranch Commanche with a 10-8 rear and Yam's 10-8 G-10's. The old rifle is a Winchester 1894 from 1900.....

Anyone know how to get the charging handle to stay open while cleaning the Vepr?
