Blazer is made by CCI/Speer. It says so right on the box.

Blazer is available at other places, too. I bought some Blazer 9mm with aluminum casings from the shop when I bought my handgun. They were $9.98 a box.

I used Blazer ammo once in my .38spcl. The gun didn't mind it and still shot well. However, it was by far the filthiest ammo (next to Fiocci) I have ever used.

I have never used Aluminum cases, any advantages? I know they can't be reloaded. But to me aluminum seem too brittle to be used as a shell casing. I guess it is some Aluminum alloy, not pure.

The Blazer aluminum cases work fine for shooting once. No idea what, if anything, they are alloyed with. The advantage is lower cost. They make decent practice and plinking rounds, though they aren't as good or as cheap as just reloading your own.

Probably a throw-back to the days when blazer only offered aluminum cased ammo

"Blazer" was synonymous with "alloy cases".
