This may be an oddball question but I am looking for a shop that sells unjacketed lead 9mm ammo. I have tried Ace in washington, gander mountain, anthony arms, all do not carry.

http://www.mastercast.net/amo.htm, I believe thats who I used to get remanufactured 9mm from in lead. I just used them on the farm playing around. Worked fine in my Glock 17. I did run the brush in the octagonal barrel every 100 rounds or so when shooting lead. Glocks and lead are not pals.

Thanks, do they have a storefront? I ripped up the credit cards many years ago, so I really don't do online purchases. The club i recently joined does not allow jacketed rounds on the indoor range. Until the weather gets above 40 I will most likely try to shoot inside, so I need to find a place in Western PA that carries non jacketed 9mm luger.

You must be looking in the wrong place at Ace. I was just there yesterday (Monday) and picked up a box of lead 9mm. Must have been the same problem with gun runners

1. Walk into the shop and turn left
2. Walk past all the safes
3. They are at the end of the first shelving unit on your right.
4. They are Ultramax (brand) and are in a Blue box with red and white.

I'm guessing your looking for ammo to use at the indoor range at DML range? That's why I buy them and know exactly where they are.

Good sources for components, but I think he's looking for loaded ammo rather than components to reload with.

mastercast sells loaded ammo, and they give you a discount when you turn in brass both at their storefront and at Bravermans.

i turned in a bag of 500 pices of 45 brass and got 500 rounds 45ACP 230grain FMJ for $108 OTD. Looks good, havent shot it yet though.

Exactly Mojo. I actually did not look around at Ace but I went there about a week or so ago to buy a new Ruger SR9, and asked the guy ringing up my purchase for some unjacketed ammo, his reply was "we dont carry any". Did not like the saleman anyhow, I asked for a new pistol in the back not fondled by everyone and dry fired 100's of times. I then told him I was going to purchase it and dry fired it. He gave me lip about it then I explained to him how the SR9's state in the manual that they should not be dry fired without magazine, and I did not want one that someone could have dry fired without magazine. Oh well I digress, thanks for letting me know. I will either run to bravermans during lunch at work or to aces on the weekend. Mojo, one more thing, how much for the ultramax?
