    Default Muzzle break on SKS?

How does one do this? I like the way they look so I want one.

If it's a Yugo 59/66 with a threaded barrel, you can take the grenade launcher off and get a muzzle brake that fits it. There are a few on the market.

If it doesn't have a threaded barrel, you'll need to get one that attaches with set screws. The "twist-on" version has two legs that go behind the front sight and bayo lug (I think). You'll still need a set screw or something to keep it from coming loose.

Here's a few suppliers from google products...

I think most NCStar stuff is made in china, if you care about that sort of thing.

Something like this? With the break on you can not use the bayonet.

I had gotten a pin on birdcage for my soviet sks at cabelas. It wiggled alot and after about 300 rounds it broke off and went flying downrange. Not Recommended. The screw on ones on the yugos dont seem bad tho.

Depending on you barrel and which model of break - some are pinned on, some are threaded, some have to be silver soldered on.
