After 4 pages, I guess I'm way out of line but I think there should be a Saiga 12 gauge on there.

CX4's look like they would be fun, but can you get like 30rds+ mags for them?

I think the CX4 uses 9mm, .40, and .45. Uses pistol mags. Other than that I'm not sure.

FYI.. SAIGA 12 at Centerfiresystems.com for $550 and free shipping. How can anyone bypass a magazine fed semi-auto 12 gauge shotgun?

I think if you're including pistol calibers (and especially the hi-point) you need to include the kel-tec sub 2000 ... folding and ready for the 33 round glock mgs

Re: Top 10 semi-auto rifles for $1000 or less.
The $ 1000 limit makes it more difficult, especially lately. Some on the original list are way past this limit. So, if just making a wish list then add:
PTR-91 (great HK91 clone)
M14
If it must be $ 1K tops then I guess it’s the AK just by the process of elimination. Can a decent AR even be had for $ 1K these days?
The only thing on the list I would drop is the 9mm UZI

Re: Top 10 semi-auto rifles for $1000 or less.
M1A (civie M14) are running well over $1000. Real M14s are crazy expensive, like $10k+.
I think you can still build an AR under $1000. Stripped lower and Model 1 Sales kit should do it easily. I put a LMT M4 upper on an assembled Stag lower in 2004 for about $850, but I guess it would be higher now.Removed NRA Life Member pic. LaPierre and Chris Cox are ruining NRA.
