Re: Huge weapons cache found in N.J.
Wow 1/2 a million rounds!!!! Any of that going to be up for sale?
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

Re: Huge weapons cache found in N.J.
They'll probably destroy all of it, this is the fascist state of NJ, I don't know. There is probably some stuff collectors would want to get their hands on.

Re: Huge weapons cache found in N.J.
So... is it illegal to own a bunch of guns and ammo?
Since when does assaulting a police officer translate into a warrant for someone's home?
Burglary, maybe.
Frigging news is talking about the guns, which aren't necessarily illegal, and aren't the real story. Lazy ass reporter."Never give up, never surrender!" Commander Peter Quincy Taggart

Re: Huge weapons cache found in N.J.
Typical story from the crappy media we have these days. Just get the story out and sensationalize it somehow, then worry about getting the facts correct later. I need more info to have any opinion. Also, you and I would view this as a large collection of guns, not a "huge cache of weapons".
You can never have enough horsepower or ammunition.

Re: Huge weapons cache found in N.J.
Joe, you said you were in law enforcement at one time right? So if you got assaulted on the job and they got away, you'd be ok with no one going to look for them and bringing them to justice? I can't believe that.
But burglary...where most times no one is even home when it's committed...thats more worthy of an warrant? The police probably had an arrest warrant for the badguy and a search warrant for the home. The article is too vague to know for sure.http://tinyurl.com/y6jhwkw CLICK TO DONATE I'm riding again in 2010!

Re: Huge weapons cache found in N.J.
its not the number of guns, they are checking them for illegal ones.
the warrant was drawn up only after the guy tried to get away by going into his house and picking up a loaded pistol and then getting into a fight with cops. the cops were not originally there to look for guns, just another man and stolen farm equipment.Your web muscles do not frighten me.
