    Default Black Rifles, Take that Dems!




    Talk about a impulse purchase, but i was at my gun shop (Bobs Army Navy, Clearfield) and behold they had one! Given that it might be a few more months until my M1A comes in i threw caution to the wind.


    Its a 16" model JDL calls the Law Enforcement Carbine. I got a HK Paratrooper Stock and 20 G3 mags on order

    As for ammo, i have yet to find a great price of the stuff. I tried some Barnaul ~8$ per 20 and it shot very well, but very dirty. Given its price i'm probably going to try and pick up another case or two of Federal Soft-Points since they're priced at about 10$ per 20 and atleast i get nice brass. NATO spec'd 308's are so hard to find so i'm gearing up to roll my own.
