anyone else think it would have been much more amusing if there was a bed of nails sitting right there to throw the tree rat on?
the only good tree rat is a dead one!The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

a kid at work had a squirrel in his furnace. he called an animal control person to take care of it.
"what did he do?"
"he reached in the furnace and grabbed it."
"...and you couldn't have done that?"
needless to say, he got tons of flak over that and his masculinity was questioned many times - especially because he doesn't own any guns and has never even fired a gun! poor guy.
edit: now that i think about it, he did have flying squirrels in his house, so the squirrel-a-pult would have been perfect for them.

As funny as that is, why don't they just eat the squirrels to get rid of them? Haven't they ever heard of a squirrel melt, squirrel kabobs, teriyaki squirrel, or the other many recipes? Decent eating, plus you can use the pelt to make a neat looking cod piece.
