Knoxx is now distributed exclusively by blackhawk
    http://www.blackhawk.com/catalog/Stocks,10.htm

They definately make the straight "compstock" for the 500 and 590 mossberg.
    (they are the cats-ass, BTW)

I do not see the 11-87 in the list though.

Problem with the 11-87 is going to be the recoil plunger tube/assy in the buttstock.

You can have a Knoxx kit installed on an existing stock with this:

But for the reason mentioned above it won't work w/11-87

give a + 1 on the knoxx stocks.

I have the breechers grip for my Serbu Shorty, it makes a 6" barrel 12ga with 3" mags tolerable to shoot 1 handed.

the collapsing style is best if you want a buttstock, the wire "copstock" is less desireable.

as PaPatriot mentioned, the 11/87 is unable to take a Knoxx stock due to the recoil spring and tube in the buttstock....also, the 11/87, being a gas operated semi already has a fairly mild recoil, adding a rcoil reducing stock, if possible, would likely reduce the reliability by robbing the action of needed cycling energy.

for that, I suggest a "Limbsaver" type recoil pad.
