    Yes, it's an old thread...

    Yes, I'm a new member...

Yes, this is my first 10/22

No this is not my first gun!

My wife just got me this for our 1 year anniversary and I had found this site while looking at options for my 10/22 combine. All stock at the moment don't have huge plans for this one. I will be getting a scope and probably a bi-pod. I'll be using this just for plinking and whistle pig removal.

My daughters PINKed out Ruger 10/22. I made her do the change over herself. Even putting on the new magazine release which is so much better the the original. And the fake flash suppressor which she really liked the looks of.

This is the daughters and my "new to me" 10/22. I just purchased this off a fellow PAFOA member today. I'll be fixing mine up with some goodies soon. Just trying to decide which way I want to go with it.

Ordering new sights for both of them either tonight or tomorrow. Going with TECH-SIGHTS Aperture sights (http://www.tech-sights.com/ruger3.htm) for both of them. Highly recommended by guys on this sight http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/index.php (Thank you very much Lycan for this hook up. Great sight for these rifles).

These sights should work great since these are pretty close to what the kid uses on the Rifle Team she shoots on at School.

Thank you, I knew you couldn't "hunt" with a semi but since this was not considered hunting I didn't think it was an issue. Well I didn't consider it hunting, keeping them out of my garden really isn't much of a hunt. Looks like I'm going to have to get another, bolt this time. Any reason to get another firearm is a good reason.
