I would like to purchase a hand gun I did a psp check and came back no record does this mean I should answer no for the question about ever being arrested ?

Does it really ask that? Ive bought so many guns all I know is that on both forms the first question is "yes" and all the rest are "no".

As long as you answer truthfully, you should have nothing to fear.

How were you able to do a PSP check? My neighbor is a high school administrator and has access to the PSP database, but to use it for personal use would get her in deep doodoo.

I highly doubt that your neighbor has an NCIC/CLEAN terminal as a school administrator. Anyone can use the net to look at PAST arrest history in PA.

You posted this in 2 different places, you really should do it only in one. The Q & A area is the better place.

As I asked there, we need more info about what is going on to give a good answer. Have you been arrested? What for? Convicted?

The PSP Form (Application/Record of Sale) does not ask if you have been arrested. It asks if you have ever been CONVICTED or CHARGED with certain crimes. You need to read the form more closely.

Even the ATF Form 4473 doesn't address arrests, just convictions and charges.
