    Talking Interarms Walther PPK/S Questions/Advice

I picked this up last evening, It came with all the papers/box/test target ect. in .380.
Really fine condition with pristine internals and not even a line on feed ramp.
Original factory mag too.,,, Test target dated 4-4-84
    Are these reliable guns?
Are they known for any issues?
    Did I do good,,,265 OTD.
I always like the looks of these, but have been too cheap to spend the $500+ I always see them going for,,, But this one came to me from my favorite shop, And since I am a good customer, I paid what did.
    Here is a pic
And any information you may have is appreciated!

    First off congrats!!!!

I have a PPK/S and love it! Accurate, easy to conceal and reliable. "I" have never had any issues with mine, and I have over one thousand rounds through it! I load with hydra shok ammo, and I have read some people have had problems with jams, but I never have.

Make sure you don't have your hand to high up as recoil action can easily nip your skin.

I'm sure others will have varying levels of expertise, but I make this my #1 carry weapon. Fits in ankle holster nicely also.(When I'm riding the motorcycle)

Best of luck with it!! Aim true, shoot straight!!!

We have a PPK/S like yours that was left in a glove box for years. Scratched, rusted and full of crud. Gave it a good cleaning and lubing runs like a clock, looks like hell.

The PPK/S is my all the time carry. Solid and accurate.

Like Danny said, watch out for slide bite.

Question Re: Interarms Walther PPK/S Questions/Advice

Hello. my Interarms Walther ppk/s doesn't work properly
It shoots only first bullet and then the second one stucks and the bullet indicator pulls out as much as it can. feels like it's gonna hit u in the eye. after that, if u will put the bullet in the barrel, it won't shoot from the first try. it needs three times to pull the triger for it to shoot.......... what is wrong ?????
PPK/S is practically new, only 100 bullets have been shot. but it was unused for 6 years

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

P.S. the store I bought it is in USA, and I'm in Europe, so they definitely can't help.

The two Interarms and one German I use frequently have never been anything but very reliable and accurate.

There are reports of feeding issue with some ammunition brands, particularly with some bullet profiles. I personally haven't had any issues, though. The bottom of the slide can cut skin, I get it regularly. Here's the result:

I *was* trying to grow a "PPK callous" by frequent shooting, but the .380 ammo market put the ka-bosh on that project, fast.

I suspect you already know the answer to this, it's akin to legalized theft.

$260 would be $245 before tax. I've seen used PA-63s priced higher. The store owner must have been very happy with you, the store owner must have known what a minty PPK/S was worth. So, how did you get $250+ store credit? Did you trade anything in?

Is this a photo of the actual gun you bought?

Yup Actual pic of the PPKS I bought for $265 OTD.
I am a good customer there and the owner swings me really good deals, Lets face it, Gun shops make a killing on use guns, And he just chooses to not take my $s like other folks.

And your favorite gun shop is? Inquiring minds want to know. It looks very nice. Bitting is the only problem that I've heard of.
s&W fixed it when they took over production. Good luck with it.
