Re: Richard Hughey Arms & Accoutrements (Delaware County)
There are not many guys like Dick around anymore. May God rest his soul.

It was always fun going to Dicks to do a transfer. He loved sharing his knowledge and you always left his home learning something new. He will truly be missed. Rest In Peace Dick.

Dick was the man. Several smooth transfers, so accommodating. Always a great conversation. Awesome collection. I loved that he thought the background checks were still conducted by random secretaries in Harrisburg.
"______? That's an odd last name. We might be here for a while. These are Harrisburg girls, they're not used to names like yours."
2 seconds later the approval comes through.
"Oh, well they must have saved you in the system from last time."
The Philadelphia gunny community suffered a great loss with the passing of Dick. RIP

If you are looking for a new place in Delaware County, I really like the Thin Blue Line. Quick service, and $25 transfers.

I had perforformed a number of transfers with Dick and all went smooth. He was a great guy, I am sad to hear he passed.

Thin Blue Line, Joe is very nice man, BUT he raised his rates to $35. Can you suggest cheaper FFL in DELCO?

Even at $35 it is worth it, he gets you in and out quickly and is easy to deal with. The other cheaper one is Highland Keep, they were $25 but not as convenient or responsive as Joe Butler. I only do a few a year so the extra cost isn't an issue as it is balanced by getting a clear appointment and knowing things have arrived and are secured.
