    Default Image size preferences?

I'm certain this might have not been asked before in regards to Classifieds vs just regular threads.

Is there a recommended image size for pictures of items for sale?

I'm usuallym on a big screen so large images are great, but what about the rest of you PAFOAers?
    800 pixels?
15"? 17"? Let me know, please.

I'd say 600x800 is the max that you'd wanna go. Any bigger and the margins get extended.

I have a widescreen resolution of 1680x1050, but scrolling through a bunch of large pictures is annoying. I'd say 800x640 is plenty big for most things, but may be too big for people still running 1024x768.

Thanks guys, I'll reduce my sizes to max width of 800?
Also, I know to limit my ads to the commercial section.

800x600 is plenty if your item takes the majority of the photo space. I really hate (big) photos of items that look like aerial shots. Have 1 shot of the complete item and a 1 or 2 relevant detail shots (good idea for gun sale). Be sure to switch to "Macro" mode for close-ups.
