Yes--then maybe we could hit classic pistol for some range time after eating?

I thought this was about Bacon or Scrapple....

I may be able to make it...
Of every one hundred men in battle, ten should not even be there. Eighty, are nothing but targets. Nine are the real fighters, we are lucky to have them since they make the battle. Ah, but the one—one is the Warrior—and he brings the others home. —Heracletus

I'd be in. I would like to meet some locals. I have to work in Hatefield at 10 on Saturdays, so as long as this would work for my schedule.

I usually do the American Star diner in Lansdale, but I wouldn't mind hittin' the Lion for a change.

Used to go there more often back in high school but the past few years I've only been there a handful of times. Just like every other dinner though, the riff-raff that goes in there at the times I usually go in there are fun to watch.

I could do the 31st. I might have to leave early for work though.

If you guys are interested in joining us after breakfast, we are having a practical rifle shoot on the 31st at the Langhorne Rod and Gun Club. This is about 1/2 hour from the Red Lion Diner. Here is all the info: http://forum.pafoa.org/shoots-range-...-gun-club.html We would need you at the club by 9:00am.

Sorry to act like the Dumb Broad here but the club shoot does not sound like just a bunch of shooters meeting at the range. Is this some sort of meet like IDPA where you have to run a course?

It also looks like you need to bring a handgun, rifle and a shotgun. Do you need all three?

When I first started to read this thread I was thinking it might be a good chance to take my SKS and hope to find someone who can give me pointers on care and cleaning of it.

Siobhra, you know I don't mind helping you with it. Wouldn't be hard, considering we WORK in the same office. Come see me tomorrow, I might have a PDF on my work PC that details everything you need for the SKS.

Breakfast sounds good, let me know when/where/etc.
