Default Which glue, what preparation, for grip medallions?

Which common glue and what preparation do any of you recommend for putting the small Browning metallic medallions onto the wood grips of my Nickel BDA 380? Both have been lost for quite some time, and I just got replacements in the mail. It's my carry gun. Thanks!

Use Brownells Acra-Glas. Drill two small holes, not deep and put a drop of Glas under the medallion. You can buy a Glas Bedding kit to get the product. Unmixed shelf life is measured in tens of years.

See these links for uses of Acra-Glas:

Wow, so the glue going down into the holes and stuck to the back of the medallion thus acts as screws into the wood? Nice idea. Thanks! I'll check that out.

I have started using Gorilla Super Glue, Clear. It comes in a small tube and flows very nicely. You can get it in clear and white. A little dab will do ya.

I'll second the Acra Glas, Looks like a good high quality epoxy rather than cheap wallyworld stuff.

I'd take epoxy over CA (super) glue anyday.

Thanks, all, for the input. I have a couple of small smithing projects to do that I'm saving up for a rainy week, so I haven't attempted this one yet. I'm also going to ask about glue/adhesive removal in another thread here!
