    Otherwise it is legal to sell a home built receiver as far as I'm concerned as long as those guide lines that I posted are met.
    I'll stand corrected too if the letters I've seen pre-date the one you posted. Let me do some searching, its been a couple years since I last checked.

    I try to also. Like I said, its been a couple years since I checked up on it while designing some single shot rifles.

    They do have a habit of changing their opinions a lot. One letter will say one thing, the next will say another. It depends too on who is writing the letter at the ATF. I've noticed some of the agents are more "liberal" than others, and you will get different letters about the same subject from different agents in the same relative time period.
