Rock River Arms Forged Charging Handle - $25.00
Flat Top Detachable Carry Handle - $85.00
    ---------------------------------
    Total - $1,110

    M4gery:
LMT Lower (Marked Costal Gun, Inc) - $282
Rock River Arms Lower Kit/RRA Two Stage Trigger/M4 6-pos Stock Kit - $269
    Sight tool/Magpul Trigger Guard/Ambi Safty - $63.95

BOTTOM LINE: A lot of money spent, but I believe it was all worth it, noting the political climate.

It's just a Surefire G2 LED light, but I went on ebay and searched for other bulbs, and this outfit called Alpha makes replacement bulbs that rate at close to 390 lumen, and the cost is very reasonable.

EDIT: Just notiec my OP had some bad info, listed my Aimpoint twice, instead of the Surefire. It's been fixed.

If $ is the issue you should consider a build. I knew absolutely nothing about these a few weeks ago. I still know next to nothing but when you post a question here you'll get all kinds of answers and help.

I have a stripped lower on order from Anvil Arms. Once I get it and save some more $ I'll buy a lower parts kit (LPK). That's when I'll need some more help and I know (hope ) I'll get my answers from all the knowledgable folks here.

A build is the best way to go. You can buy what when you can afford it.

I'm not a big fan of this forum but there is a lot of useful info over there. Check out this link.

lpk is easy to install, no more than 20-30 minutes - taking your time.

mag catch assembly takes less than one minute to install, bolt catch about 2-3 minutes (including prep time with tape), about a minute for the pivot pin/ spring/detent (maybe more if it's your first time), and about 5-10 minutes for the FCG. then your safety/spring/detent/pistol grip is a minute or so as well.

    Trigger guard is easy too.

If you have your stock the td pin can be put in now too.

I'd be glad to help anyone near allegheny country if they need it.

OBAMA for gun salesman of the year. That man has done more for the firearms industry than any advertising they could have come up with.

Nice collection of AR's you have there.
