Dick's Ammo Rebates

Back in November 2008 Dick's had those ammo rebate specials. $6 rebate for 3 box purchase of Remington Sluggers or Buckshot. They also had a $5 rebate for Winchester rifle cartridges.

Sent mine in 12 weeks ago and no rebate yet. Just wondering if anyone else got their rebates yet?

Last year I bought one of those stealth cams for my dad for Christmas..Sent all the required receits , upc codes...I'm still waiting on the 10 dollar rebate...Its only been a year..Good thing I have patience..

Yeah, I have all of the paperwork. I'll call them on Monday. Just didn't know if anyone else got theirs yet.

ALWAYS make copies of these things... the rebate form, UPC, and receipt. Then put it in your Evolution calendar (Lookout for y'all windoze users) and FOLLOW UP the day that the thing says. If its 6-8 weeks, then call in 8 weeks!

Most if not all these rebates are outsourced to a fulfillment house. The company simply gives them a bucket of funds to work with, adn less than half of rebates are really collected on. YOU have to prod these folks. Id say roughly one in three that I do requires a call, e-mail (with the scanned copies of compliance), and if necessary a "cc" to the AG.

If you dont chase it down they claim it was "lost"... adn if you read the fine print they says that "lost" isnt their problem.... so keep copies adn then you mak it their problem. You WILL get your rebate, BUT you have to usually go through extra hoops to get it.
