Appalachian Trading Post, Carlisle
Thought I might recommend the Appalachian Trading Post to you all. Joe (the owner) has good competitive prices against the area competition and can readily get pretty much whatever you might ask for. It is a small shop so he has a low density selection, however, he does have several AK's type rifles and Glock pistols right now.
The Shop address is:
3677 Spring Road (Rt.34 N)
Carlisle, PA 17013
(717) 249-4298
hours are:
W-F 5p-8p
SAT 10a-4p

Just wanted to bump this response
Joe is a great guy and the only one i deal with now. He is very knowledgable but doesn't try to be the "know it all guy". His prices are very competitive for both ammo and fire arms.
Not a huge selection but can help you get what your looking for, he also does trade in's.

Re: Appalachian Trading Post, Carlisle
I do a lot of shooting at The State pistol ranges in Carlisle Springs.. A few guys have come to the range with great deals on guns purchased there.. Have been out to the shop a few times but he has very unique hours and have never been able to see the shop open.. I will try again and I am looking forward to meeting the owner...

Re: Appalachian Trading Post, Carlisle
I stopped in and checked this shop out. I didn’t even know there was a gun shop there till I seen this post. One of the best gun shop owners in this part of the woods. It will be my first stop gun shop now. If you have not been there yet stop in.

met the owner at a gun show, was very polite and friendly, wasn't dismissive and didn't try to pressure me into a sale, his prices were very reasonable, especially for a gun show and while I didn't buy anything I steered a friend over to his table and he was very very happy with his purchase.
