Can Cabelas get me an AK?

I have a bunch of store credit there and Ive always wanted an AK. Has anyone ever got one from Cabelas?

Its not something that they have in stock new.

They might be able to do a special order for you but be prepared for the sticker shock......

Best option is to find a dealer that has them in stock and see if they will ship it to Cabellas, then call Cabellas and have them fax a copy of their FFL to the stocking dealer and have the stocking dealer do the same.

Once the stocking dealer gets your payment and ships the AK to them just go to the outfitters desk and do the transfer.

Save the store credits for their upcoming gun sale and get something from that

the one in WV has had them new in the past, though i'm sure thats not the easiest thing to find on their shelves in the current market.

Yeah ... it's going to be hit or miss. I'm sure that they could order one, but be prepared for a long long wait. They are pretty hard to find anymore.

They use to carry them all the time a few months ago but never have them anymore. When i was there in December I asked the guy there and he said they wouldnt have anymore for 6+ months. Just what I was told.
