    What makes you trust your local police more? Should universities also not have police departments? They all have the same qualification.
    No, Universities should not have their own police, because they regularly are used to cover up crimes, especially under aged drinking and sexual assault/rape at the university, which impacts not only enrollment, but also federal funding.

    The same also applies to campus security.


    Everyone on college is an adult. They should be expected to act like it.
